Principal's Bio

Mr. Roberts earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Linfield College.  After spending a year traveling to over 60 college and university campuses as a Leadership and Education Consultant for Theta Chi International Fraternity he completed his Master of Arts in Teaching at Pacific University.  Upon completion of his MAT he began his teaching career at Centennial High School in Portland, Oregon.  From Centennial, Jeff moved on to start a comprehensive Business Education program at Sherwood High School.  While at Sherwood, Jeff served as the Dean of Students and coached football while completing his Initial Administrative Licensure program at Portland State University.  At the conclusion of his initial licensure program, Mr. Roberts took a hiatus from the education field and worked in sales for Hampton Lumber based out of Portland, Oregon.  After five years in the private sector Jeff returned to the field of education where he taught CTE Business courses at Parkrose High School in Northeast Portland.   While working at Parkrose, Jeff was the Site Council Chair, CTE Department Chair, Future Business Leaders of America Adviser, and coached Varsity Football.  

Most recently Mr. Roberts spent five years as the Assistant Principal at Seaside High School and the past two years as Principal.  While at Seaside Jeff has completed his Continuing Administrative License at Lewis & Clark College and has served the high school and Seaside School District as the Title X Homeless Liaison, District Math Committee Co-Chair, Accreditation Team member, and high school varsity Head Football Coach.  Jeff, his wife Nissa, and daughter McKenna reside in Gearhart, Oregon.
