Bio

I moved from California to Oregon in 2007. Before college I was a travel agent and I have had the opportunity to travel to 43 countries.  I graduated with a Bachelors’s in Botany from Cal Poly Pomona and a Master’s in Botany from Claremont Graduate School. I was a field biologist and project manager for 15 years restoring and monitoring plant and animal habitats. This is my 6th year as a teacher and my 5th year at Seaside High School as a resource room teacher with freshman and sophomores. I have earned a Master’s in Teaching from Marylhurst University and a Master’s in Education from Lewis & Clark College. The thing I love the most is seeing all the students blossom into young men and women. I love flying kites on the beach with my son. I have 2 cats, 2 lizards and fish.
