Ms. Haber-Lehigh has 18 years of teaching experience at middle school, high school and community college levels. Currently she teaches English Language Development and Art of Ethnobotany at Seaside High School. Ms. Haber-Lehigh has traveled extensively around the world, she has visited or studied in the following countries: Poland, England, Germany, Spain, Luxemburg, Belgium, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Mexico, Canada and France. She has climbed Chichen Itza's pyramids in Mexico, enjoyed fireworks displayed at Eiffel Tower in Paris, wandered around the stones of Stonehenge and watched Barcelona Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992. Her favorite spots in the world are Tatra Mountains in Poland, Wroclaw - a historic city where her parents live, Barcelona's Gothic Quarter and Shortsands and Oswald State Park on Oregon Coast! She believes that by learning about cultures and languages from around the world, we ultimately learn about our own limitations (cultural paradigms or cultural biases), we expand our perceptions about the lives we live or could live and hopefully become better people for ourselves and others.
