I am so excited to join the Seaside community.  I was born and raised in Oregon, and love everything the coast has to offer.  I spent most of my school years attending Camp Kiwanilong in the summer, and still help out my sister Sprite during the summers.  For the last 13 years I have worked at Parkrose High School in NE Portland.  I have taught Introduction to Business, Marketing, Finance, Business Law, Personal Finance, and Entrepreneurship.  I also had an amazing opportunity to help start the Future Business Leaders of America program with Principal Roberts.

I encourage students at Seaside to think about joining our new chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America.  There are over 60 different events you can compete in at the State Business Leadership Conference.  Just to give you an idea on the different options you have participating in FBLA, take a look at some of the cool categories you can compete in:  Business Plans, Community Service, Computer Game Design, Digital Video, Marketing, 3D Animation, Mobile Apps, Social Media, and Website Design just to name a few.  If you are interested in winning cash prizes, competing against other schools from around Oregon, and having a chance to represent Oregon at the National Conference in Anaheim, California this summer, please come talk with me.

In my free time, I love traveling with my wife Ashley, and our dog Ebony (Black Lab).  I enjoy camping, wood working, and currently I'm rebuilding a 1964 Ford Thunderbird.
